At Western Technical College, we understand that applying for financial aid might seem to be an overwhelming and at times a confusing process; especially if this is the first time you have ever applied. We want to make the financing phase of your college experience as stress-free as possible by assisting you every step of the way. Therefore, we encourage you to meet individually with a member of our friendly financial aid staff. They will explain what financial aid programs are available, walk you through the application process, and even assist you with filing the on-line Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may certainly apply on your own as well by following the steps listed on our How to Apply Web Page.

The pages located in our Financial Aid drop down menu will provide you with a wealth of information about financial aid programs, applications, and procedures as well as explaining your rights and responsibilities. We encourage all students and prospective students to read these pages and to contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions.

We look forward to helping you take advantage of all the programs available to you. Our goal is to ease the financing process so that you can concentrate on success in your chosen program.
