Lineworker Program

Learn From the Best: You’ll learn from experienced instructors who have worked out in the field. Our instructors have over 160 years of combined experience in the industry.

What You Will Learn: As a student in the Lineworker Program, you will gain a basic understanding of electricity, learn how to install and repair electrical devices, learn and practice safe pole climbing techniques and other safety precautions, and learn how to use the tools needed to complete certain tasks.

Be Work Ready: This entry-level experience is a catalyst towards building an approximate five-year progression path towards becoming a first-class line worker in the power industry.

A typical apprenticeship program career track is:

  • Helper – Apprentice (Approximately 6-8 months)
  • Apprentice (approximately 4 years)
  • Lineworker

Certifications: After completion of the course, you will be prepared to test for following professional certifications:

  • First Aid Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • OSHA
  • Pole Climbing Certification
  • Pole-Top Rescue Certification
  • Enclosed Space Certification

Training Facility: Gaining the skills necessary to become a skilled Lineworker is important to your success. Training will take place at 123 Red Road. This spacious 35 square foot facility comfortably houses a 35-foot pool for training and modern equipment needed to provide you a Real-World experience.

Schedule: You will attend training Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. In just 12 short weeks, you will be on your way …climbing new heights!
